Titanite
Titanite was first described by Klaproth in 1795, the chemical formula CaTiSiO5. Titanite is a monoclinic mineral. It was named after the element it contains - Titan. The original name of the titanite spheres (meaning the wedge, which is the shape in which titanite occurs most often) is still used in jewelry for machined crystals.
