Sulphates, borates & nitrates
Sulfates; a group of abundant minerals emerging, oxidative decomposition of sulfides; hydrothermally (eg barite) and in particular, sedimentary processes, mainly by evaporation of brines (gypsum, anhydrite, kainite, mirabilite, kieserite, etc. Borates an extensive group of minerals, of which borax and kernit are the most important. Their deposits are formed in the final phase of crystallization of seawater salts, but mainly by evaporation of brines of some desert lakes.
