Argentopyrite
The mineral Argentopyrite was discovered by Wolfgang Sartorius in 1865. Argentopyrite is steel-gray to tin-white, but turns brassy yellow to dark tombac. The fracture is uneven, fissile-free and very brittle. At the quarry, it has a light lead-gray color with a yellowish tint, a black scratch.
