Miargyrite

Miargyrite is a rare mineral from the sulfide group. Heinrich Rose named it after the Greek meion - less and argyros - silver because it contains less silver than pyrargyrite. It occurs in short columnar crystals, it is also granular. It is dark gray to black, metallic shiny. Occurs on ore veins. More info
