Skutterudite
Skutterudite was named in 1845 by Haidinger after the mineralogical locality Skutterud in Norway. It occurs most on hydrothermal ore veins, but also in skarn. It is usually steel gray to tin white and metallic shiny. It occurs granular and crystallized, most often in cubic and octahedral crystals
